⁷ And she brought forth her first begotten Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a feeding trough (because there was no room for them in the inn).

⁸ And there were in that same country, shepherds, abiding in the field, and keeping watch over their flock by night.

⁹ And lo, the Angel of the Lord came upon them. And the glory of the Lord shone about them. And they were very afraid.
